Allocchio Bacchini mod. 415

Radio Allocchio Bacchini mod. 415 - Italy late 40s. Superheterodyne receiver. Receive medium wave and short wave with 2 ranges selectable via front lever. Uses 5 valves series Rimlock: UCH42 as converters, UF41 average frequency, UBC41 and preamp as revealing low frequency, the final sound as UL41 and UY41 as straightening. Power is understood by 110 to 160 V. Wooden cabinet with mirrored front talking scale that also includes the grille, control volume and tuning, rear perforated cardboard red. I ran the replacement of all capacitors and cleaning.

Reminds me a bit of Zeniths & that RCA "Foghorn" of the same era, but yours is prettier, I think !

Neat. It's nice to see these overseas sets.

actually has an unusual front and say, for the time, modern. Radios Allocchio Bacchini were considered valuable and expensive equipment
