Vizio EV420vo

Got one of these evil critters and changed the EEPROM. Still, the orange logo of death. From what I can read, this set has multiple issues. has anyone gotten one back to life other than an EEPROM. The power supply appears good.
Or is it better to "put it to SLEEP!"
