Smile Edison Model A150 Diamond Disc machine

Well, thank heavens I was finally able to do it!!
Let me tell you a very true story.....

About 44 years ago, at about the ripe old age of 17, I bought a very rough Diamond Disc phonograph from a dealer friend in Detroit. Some of you may remember him. His name was Baily Teeters...
I didn't have much money, and, it didn't cost much. At the time it was playing, but, the cabinet a total wreck!
Legs cut off, badly home made grill, Very bad veneer job on crank side with Japanese veneer, and, slapped on top of original bad veneer.
Case had fallen apart, so, he nailed it in manny places with ten penny nails.
I didn't have much money, so, I ended up paying about 30.00 playing with a repaired main spring. Nut, and, bolt, that is..
Despite that, It managed to play 1.5 records at one winding.
Years later, I foolishly traded it off. He used some of the parts from it. The collector was someone I knew in Dearborn by the name of Charles Greggory.
Years later, he mad a mint off me because my friend Baily had died, and, I wanted that machine, hoping someday to get a better cabinet for it.
I've now had that machine again for I think 30 years.
I still have it to this day, but, the reproducer went to places unknown.

Come the last couple days, guess what!!
I found the case, in Washington state.
I contacted the owner, and, he agreed to ship it if I won it.
Last night I won it...

I am so excited!
I now have hopes of getting the empty almost complete case for my machine!
Hopefully, I'll have it in the next couple of weeks, or, so..
I will transfer my parts to this case, and, start looking for the remainder of the parts I need....
When finnished, yes, I will have too much in it, but, I will have my dream machine restored, and, saved for future generations. I'll eventually replace main spring, also...
I am just excited about this!!!!
