A huge thanks to Dave and Tim for putting this together.

I'll enjoy having a dedicated site to this hobby along with the audio one.

I'm sure I'll find something of interest here too.

You guys have to remember that for a plant to grow, you need to transplant a part of it, and put it in a new pot, making both pots places for growing.

We could never do things like free classifieds before, etc, in the old framework. Remember guys, I'm a TV guy, so what we have here is something for us, by us.

It also means that your voices for change and direction will be heard much more clearly, as you don't have to go shouting over a crowd.

Have we registered new videokarma members yet? I mean new people that have
joined videokarma directly? Who will have the honor to be the first to join these
forums?

Someone (jr_tech) complained he had joined audiokarma recently and could
not log in here:

I am most supportive of the efforts and of both sites. I really appreciate the knowledge base we have here and including my 2 cents worth to be helpful when I can.
Thanks guys!

Currently I cannot access the site using any variation of the videokarma.org address, though videokarma.net is how I got here tonight.

Also, any insight as to why the site does not remember my login info (even though I checked that box) and makes me enter my ID and password every time? FF 3.5 here.

I've enjoyed many, many posts from the www.audiokarma.org site over the last 3 years, although my own contributions have been sparse. I've gleaned an awful lot of good info from all the members, especially my favorite threads in Tape, Turntables, Tubes, Early B&W-Early Color-Rectangular TV forums, & Antique Radios.

I'm relieved to read that these archived posts will still be there somewhere. It's always good to delve back into a subject & know it will still be there. I'm willing to wait awhile for the "bugs" to be sorted out, as I really do like the idea of having olders post & all those great pics by members still available. Good luck & good speed on this!

I stay away for a day or two and find out we've moved...

That's OK. Nice to have a board of our own 'though I am a big hi-fi guy too. Thanks to the mods for getting us set-up.
