Those are getting scarce.. And that one is the rarer of the two (the FP-60 is the common one with built-in SL-2000 Betamax deck). I wouldn't mind having that set, but I think the shipping is GROSSLY underestimated, and to safely ship it will be more like $80 to the West Coast.

Can I get the warranty on it.... That shipping quote does sound low. What where the big issues with the Indextron sets both projector and standalone, was it just bad caps like everything else made about that time or where there unobtanium parts that where common failure items.

Hi Matt,

FP's are fairly recent so shot guns recapping does not seem obligatory unlike the its cousin the KVX-370..

Non working models with shot flyback are unrepairable. The flyback itself being an unfindable part.

Be at ETF 2012?

Jerome,

Thanks for the response, yes I will be at ETF 2012. I will not be bringing anything of my own this year but may well leave with something.... If things go well the Philco B&W set that I got form the ETF last year might be working properly this week, just waiting on the resistors form mouser.
