ICR-120 Charger

There is a gentleman making them to order, below is one he put up for auction, even the connector looks correct. I might have a medallion and chain, I will look and get back to you. I can't seem to paste a picture here but here is his email
hamishg@telus.net
And if you want to see one go to ebay and search completed auctions for Sony ICR 120
Richard.

Hello Kc8adu, I am still looking for a medallion for you. I found one but then I realized it was in a small storage container with other 120 case parts, and belongs to one I am trying to fix for a gentleman and it has a intermitent problem, it will not work assembled. Problems like that drive me crazy. I am now trying to assemble it while it is playing to see when it stops, but it is not consistent. Sometimes as soon as I put the two halves together or when I put the last screw in. AARRRGGGHHH!

Hello Kc8adu, The more I play with it the more it seems that yours is the best way to go. With space being so tight did you have trouble finding small enough caps or causing any other damage with your 1/64 isotip? I have a Pace MBT 200 solder/de-solder station and even with the smallest tip I can find the heating element is too close to the end of the tip. About how many hours did you spend on yours?
Thank for all the info,
Best Regards,
Richard.

i used tantalums in mine so they will likely outlast the rest of the set.
my ungar desoldering system has some tiny tips and the isotip is like a needle.
skip the coffee,mt.dew ect and take your time.it is an easy job to me.
