FM Stations

FM was being broadcast prior to WW-ll. The first licensed commercial station went on the air in 1941 but I believe that there were FM broadcasts before that. These stations were were on the old FM frequencies (41 - 50 MC I think). During the war the current freqencies were allocated. Several manufacturers came out with the new FM band radios in 1946.
