Found my SNES
Now, I'm a hardcore SEGA fan.. It's gotta be SEGA this and SEGA that. But secretly, I was also a Nintendo fan, but only for some of there consoles. I didn't care for the NES except for Mario and Zelda. But I did like the SNES because it had pretty good graphics chips. I loved the Genesis more though because it had a nice Yamaha FM synthesizer and TI PSG chips (which allowed a more realistic arcade port of games, making them sound like the arcade versions of the time), and a very powerful 68000 CPU. SNES was just a 16-bit 6502 really. Not impressive.
But anyway, here it is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nka6V2qV_U8 It features my old Samsung TV, and also has up close gameplay, right to the CRT and had my camera filming at 30fps with a 1/30th shutter, so it captures without flicker.. AND it was white balanced to it, so you can see the beautiful D65 calibration it has now too.. |
