Thanks so much for the clarification. Now it makes sense. I was on the right track after all. I did the first fit up of the CRT and cover last night. I still need to fabricate a few parts, but so far, so good. The orientation of the CRT puts the anode well directly in line wit the rib, so I'll have to remove a portion of it. I'm looking at getting some T-bolts for the yoke so I don't have to fiddle with getting nuts onto the thumbscrews after installation. |

One thing that may be of importance is crt orientation. Some of the color crt data sheets seem to depict an internal form of masking. I'm not sure if the phosphor dot mask is a full circle. It could be a circle with the top and bottom solid semi-circles, taking the form of a double D screen. Proper orientation will determine where the anode lead is positioned. Also take into account the position of crt's blue gun and blue lateral magnet.
