Were RCA TK-12s upgradeable to TK-60s by modification?

G'day all.

I have noticed from researching television cameras used in Australia that some stations that adopted RCA cameras prior to the introduction of the RCA TK-60 had TK-12s in studio but within a few years had TK-60s judging by the addition of the air vent to the top of the camera's enclosure.

I would like to know, besides the exhaust fan at the top of the TK-60, was there much difference between the TK-12 and the TK-60? And was the TK-12 upgradable to a TK-60 by the addition of the exhaust and perhaps some electronic mods or were the two cameras totally different in electronic design and perhaps mechanical layout and upgrade was not possible?
