Panasonic TR-5060X

I was cruising eBay and found a rather interesting, but beat up alarm clock tv.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/124065220127

I can't say as I have ever seen one of these in the US market that had a LW band option or a 220/110v switch and a separate switch for 50/60hz operation. Other than that, it is a good looking design and may end up in my mailbox if it turns out to be a decent device.

Would anyone have any info on it as Google has nothing.

Thanks

I guess the X must be for the multi-region version.

I ended up buying the thing, and it got here today.

It ended up working perfectly and other than a cigarette burn on the back corner of the case, it looks pretty nice too. I had to hook it up with my travel adapter as it has an EU plug, but runs fine on 110v.

It is also switchable between NTSC & PAL modes, and it does seem to show more scan lines when fed a PAL signal but not really any sharper picture. I like it.
