Model 89F - 6 tubes - 2 bands - 1937 (37-89F)
My Model 90 Highboy is 9 tubes - 1 band - 1931
Philco didn't follow any oder in the early model numbers, the model 99 is from 1930. Later models used the year as a prefix 38-xxx, made it real easy to ID.
89L - 1935
A plain 89 is not listed in Stein's - Pre-War Consoles
