Zenith Flash-Matic remote box
Found this original box and packaging at a local antique store recently. I was surprised to see it but disappointed the remote was missing. I've never seen the original box or batteries. Thought I would share a few photos here.

There is some guy on ebay that either has 50 of those zenith flashlights, or he just keeps selling the same one for from $200. - $500. depends on the week....
With that in mind you should be able to git a bunch fer yer haul!

Too bad there isnt a way to skin those batteries and enable them to slide over new ones, That would be one hell of a thing for flashmatic owners..

If you're dextrous, you can lay the battery on a flatbed scanner and roll it at just the right speed to follow the scanning head. The result is an image that you could print on paper and then paste around a new battery.
Not saying it's easy, but I have seen it done. Phil Nelson Phil's Old Radios http://antiqueradio.org/index.html |

Took some time but here's the scan. Hope someone can use it. PM me if you need a hi-res image. Actual size is 944 X 550 pixels. I had to decrease the size to 900 x 524 pixels to post here.
