Tomorow im getting a 1950s sylvania halolight combo! radio/ recordplayer work tv has a bad high voltage cap. the combo unit halolights are rare!

almost died getting it up the STAIRS!

Tip for moving a console up or down stairs: remove the chassis and CRT from the cabinet then move the three separately to the place you want them, for reassembly.

And...carpeted stairs allow you to push the cabinet up without help.I moved many a set up two flights of stairs in my parents house this way. It was just way too cold in the basement to work on TVs in the winter. No accidents, no scratches, ever.
