It's going to a friend and fellow collector who lives 45 minutes from me. Do you honestly think I'd let this TV go to the dump??? He has done lots of work on my KCS-47, and has helped me out numerous times, I'm giving him the TV in return.

The slim possibility always exists in the mind when you say your folks are mad at your collection that it could be hastily disposed of as a peace offering...I've had to do things close to that on occasion.
