The DB Cooper/vintage color connection!

I was watching Expedition Unknown on DVR tonight not really paying attention to what was happening, till about the last 2 minutes when this happened:

funny!

Seriously, cerium and lanthanum are used to make cigarette lighter flints. According to Wikipedia, Yttrium is almost always found in combination with lanthanide elements. So, this analysis would say that Cooper had something to do with rare earth refining, not early CRTs, or he simply had lighter flint debris on his tie.
