That was most of the VK contingent of the fall ETF meet...You would not know by looking, but that picture started by someone saying "hey lets all take a picture together in front of the open TV filled trunk of Tom's Lincoln".

I've got nothing against facebook, just a bunch of almost criminally insane relatives that would love to know what me and my family are doing/where we are to harass us...That, and I frankly don't have time in my life for another thing right now (been thinking of taking a vacation from VK for a while)...I've got 4 repair jobs I've promised people, what(?) 20-30 TVs since last summer that I need to fix well enough before the ETF meet to decide a keep/sell order on, my daily driver sets have been needing work, and my giant A/V/Stereo closet where all my main gear is needs a reshuffle/rewire....If my employer paused operations for a month I'd probably STILL not get it all done by the time I want to.

I'll take it! I'm doing a total recap of a 15 right now, and I really need the picture tube mountings for a planned FBP conversion for my Stanwyck with a dead AXP.

Let me know if you want the moolah in advance

Wanted: truly hard to get items:

1) 21-CT-55 with really really good CRT, in fact I'd prefer a glass replacement tube.,
chassis restored or not

2) the Holy Grail: a truly good, with good life test, no gas, 15GP22, not already in
a set

Also, I'm parting out a mahogany CTC-5 Aldrich with a dud AXP. I need a couple of the controls on the chassis for another Super I'm rebuilding, but the cabinet is intact except of course for the pencil box. If you need anything off the chassis, or need anything else (yoke, cabinet, entire remains) let me know.....

Wanting to Buy (Safari and Mini)

Hey folks... I am looking for several TVs to check off on my TV Bucket List...
2 of the 4 I want are the following...

1. Philco Safari. Preferably in good working order.
2. Mini Console (The small ones that people on EBay think are salesman samples). Also preferably in good working order.

I will be at ETF this year with AH and TP.

Let me know if you have something for a reasonable price that my wife wont kill me over.
=)

Thanks!

Tim,

I need the horizontal oscillator and sine wave coils, and possibly the fly from the 5.

I'm going to start the gutting process tonight, so I'll mark those as yours.

I could use the HV cage cover, the chroma board shield and the back (if it has one). Thanks.

(edit) I could also use the base off the CRT if you are trashing it.

The top cover for the HV cage is yours. I can never get that damn screw seated anyway

The top chroma board shield is there and that's yours. I assume you mean the top shield? The AXP is spoken for, even though it's far too gassy to use.

Unfortunately I only have one back between the two. Do you want me to ship them or bring them to ETF? Either way is fine.
