SDTV"s

How many manufacturers made SDTV's? I know RCA and Durabrand made them but I have not seen any others.

The Durabrand, Magnavox and Sylvania are all Funai sourced. I have one 20" RCA, several jail sets and three 14" stereo RCA's.
Now that you mentioned it, I haven't seen any other CRT, SDTV's. LCD's, Yes!

I have a 2008 Sansui (Orion America) DTV-1900A that I use daily in my kitchen. Watching digital subchannels on this set produces sharper pictures than any of my flat panel sets that do all the conversions to make the SD fit the HD screen.

My first DTV device was/is a 27" 4:3 CRT Sylvania-branded SDTV set made by Funai. I also have a 13" "Sansui" Funai SDTV set for the kitchen. In the day, I had seen 32" SDTV sets made by Funai, usually under the ILO brand.

I also bought my mother a 20" Toshiba TV/VCR set with SDTV, but it did not last long.

I've had ATSC LDTV sets with a built-in rechargeable battery from "RCA" (possibly TCL), Digital Prism and Phillips (the latter being a DVD player as well as an ATSC set).
