Avante-based Magnavox

No, not available locally unfortunately. Saw it in the linked 1972 Magnavox Odyssey game console promotional film. It's not a complete rip-off of the Avante as the cabinet lacks the rounded bottom corners and is not angled in the front or back. This design still doesn't grab me but it's different enough for me to keep one in my stable, especially a remote version.

It was filmed with a Super 8 camera so naturally the film looks like crap.

Chicken or egg, which came first?

Wasn't the Zenith a 1974 model?
