sylvania ck 3000

i got a good deal on a sylvania ck 3000 crt test jig made in 1976 ,it came with all the adapters , everything except any paper work like a manual ,i was hoping someone here has the same jig or knows were i can download it . thanks

Is there a particular set you're trying to adapt the jig to? I don't have an instruction manual for mine either but I can help you configure your CK3000 for any color roundy.

yes we could start with that one , i have a few roundy's i would like to do first mid 60's zenith , and two 68-69 magnavox . thanks

thank you Kevin for your help ,that was going to be my next option ,reverse engineer it, but it sure would be nice to have the setup chart so i could use it on any chassis without tearing into every time . that seems to be the norm though with manuals and the paperwork with test equipment from estate sells, they don't take the time to search for anything that might go with an idem there just quick to sell it, everything else hits a dumpster . thanks again

Here's a couple more links to posts that may have been where I gleaned my previous information. It sure would be appreciated if someone could scan and their tube era setup guide, possibly post that information on the ETF website. Actually I'd be very surprised if that info isn't lurking some place in the ETF archives.

this info really helps alot , now the little tags the previous owner attached to the adapters make sense now. thank you for help ,can't wait to try it out .

it is very interesting ,now my printer out of ink . lol I wonder if that company custom components made everything for gte sylvania except the crt and plastic tv housing ,maybe thats why can't find any manual from gte sylvania ,custom components made up the manuals and setup chart.

A google search indicates that Custom Components Corp is still in business, so now I wonder if they could possibly have any older setup manuals in their archives.

i checked them to after i wrote back earlier ,i didn't get a chance to look for a contact email or business number . being that they still made a update in the 90's maybe they kept all the info and we can reorder the charts and manuals, plus any new updates would have been made .

If they ever finish rebuilding my house from the fire so I can set up my shop again, I have the manuals and can scan them. Right now they are packed away somdwhere I hope.

hello bill r , thought i would check back with you ,hope they have finished your house by now , im still interested in a copy of the manual for test jig ck 3000 , i would gladly give you few bucks for efforts in making me a copy of the manual / set up chart . thanks

Well after more research the outfit google found seems to be into making store fixtures and office furniture. So probably no connection to the place that made these TV test jigs.
