thanks, yep losing NTSC was a sad time in the history of TV.

Yes I agree 100 percent.It was a sad day and lost my mom couple days before the shutdown.

BTW .Heres the Emerson model that I have in the photo below.

That was our family's kitchen TV when I was growing up. It had intermittent vertical rolling issues for the longest time until I or my folks discovered it had a vertical hold knob on the side....

Our original one got tossed in working order during our first move. I've since grabbed a free one for nostalgia / to go with the car adapter from the original one I later found.
