CONAR 221- 223- 224 input?
Picked up one of these the other day. Anyone else using one of these tube testers? How do they rate for the most part?

I have a 221. It works well and I have no problem with it.

Mine is the 223, bought it from a friend so i could test the older tubes i have.
Aside from throwing alot of levers and turning a few dials, its not doing too bad a job SR |

The 224 (and possibly others) have the ~300-350 ohm rheostat with switch for line adjust, just like the Hickoks. Most of the 224's I've seen lately are missing the line adjust - taken out to restore a Hickok somewhere along the way.
I've got the innards to a 224 - one socket, the meter and of course, the rheostat are all missing. Good transformer, though... Cheers,
