Zenith Royal 2000 on-off switch.

As I had mentioned slightly OTT on the other R2000 entry, I'm looking for a replacement switch for my R2000.
As luck would have it, the original is made by PR Mallory, instead of CTS. I don't have much in the line of Mallory, except maybe a push-pull VC and switch from a scrap Zenith TV.
IDK, if the volume control is anything special, as the VC and tuning knob is a concentric setup.

After looking for months, I finally found a used Mallory control with switch from around the same era. Naturally, it wasn't the right one, but I knew I could make the switch work on my pot. After a bit of fiddling around, I got the parts to fit. Now I have to restring the tuning dial cord.

Not sure if it would have applied here but Malory used to sell
two different P-P replacements. They were the KR8M & KR9M
IIRC. All you did was bend back the tabs on the pot, slide it
in place then drop a bit of solder on it to keep it from turning.
Very rugged, easy & cheep. We went through tons of them &
never had one fail.........
