The cap is a good one to learn. Its common to almost
all SS sets & has a high fail rate.

To find it: on CRT board the 3 color output collectors go through
apx a 15K or 18K 1 or 2 W resistors. Where they join is the 200
volt source. Follow the wire from that to the main PCB. You
will find it there. Usually a 4.7 mfd sometimes a 10 mfd.
Change to a 450 volt. Usually near the flyback.

Symptoms are a mix of jail bars, smearing, dark on
left to bright on right, bright blank raster, retrace, shading Some
sets will go into overcurrent shutdown also.
