It seemed like a lot of those foreign cars looked alike, except a few unique cars, like Volkswagen.
Euro-cars had terrible issues with rust here, no surprise few British cars survived this long!
The only car I had with rustproofing was an '83 rabbit GTI bought in 1988, which was "rusty jones".
Inside pockets of the hatch lid had wax-like coating. It never rusted and I sold it in 2003. Great car, made in the New Stanton, PA VW plant which later made CRTs for Sony.

On the flip-side, my CA-built '06 Tacoma was recalled by Toyota in January for a frame rust issue, still sitting at a local dealer waiting for a new frame from the OEM and a US manufacturer , with an Enterprise rentalall on the Big T's dime. Think I should have got after market rust-proofing?

Plymouth had the arrow, and Dodge had a Challenger....
They were both nicely styled 2 door cars. I think they were same platform,
different sheet metal, lights & stuff....

I guess the Arrow, was a different animal....
