Did Zenith ever make 2-way radio equipment? Maybe badged under a different name?..

They did during WWII. I've seen some military aircraft grade 2-way radio gear made by Zenith in anti-q shops.... Didn't buy it because I couldn't see a use for it and I'm not big into military stuff.

Closest consumer item I could think of was the "Radio Nurse".
The first baby monitor IIRC. They built a lot of things over the years like..... Light ballasts, power supplies for IBM PC's. PC computers, the tubes used at Arecibo, auto radios, hearing aids, HDTV transmitter accy's. Its a very long list. In at least one of the Byrd expeditions they they used Zenith radios for recievers, dont know about the transmit end. See old QST ads. Enuf fer now 73 Zeno LFOD ! |

Yes Zenith made the Wireless Set #19
During WW2 Zenith manufactured the Wireless Set #19. This radio set was it mostly used by Canada, and the Soviet Union. Example2 are not hard fine getting one working is another thing they are not easy to work on.
