Pink over walnut? I may be sick.

I saw a listing on ebay tonight that just about made me sick. A Zenith chairside radio with its cabinet painted.....PINK! This is not a factory job (I don't think, anyway), as this model, as well as all Zenith consoles, were housed in very nice wood cabinets. Why on earth would anyone take a nice walnut wood cabinet and paint it pink? I know pink was a popular color in the '50s (my folks were married in '55 and they had all pink dishes and the like), but gee whiz...to paint a wood radio cabinet that color is, IMHO, inexcusable.
