It's not a purchase, but I recently found several Star Trek episodes from the old mail order collection. I don't currently have a working VCR though.

I'm working on it. I have an Omnivision I'm trying to get going, and if I find a mostly free S-VHS I'll pick it up. I get a lot from my dump, which I don't understand because most people around here know that I will give at least a $1 for any broken stuff they bring by.

I hear ya about Goodtimes!!!

But they did come in quite lucky for me once....... The movie "THE DREAM TEAM" (1989) was 'digitally recorded' on the official MCA/Universal tape and to me didnt look good...... ON THE GOODTIMES ONE IT IS NOT,ITS A STRAIGHT TRANSFER!!!!!!!

1000% better............ It was in LP mode but I transferred it to another tape IN SP and its mucho better! (Especailly on the video)

I have since watched THE TERROR (1963) and the audio was quite loud but seeing that movie was made by a LOW BUDGET company,it wasnt that good ..... It was OK for what it was I guess...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II (for a spare), I think I got real tired of only having a factory sealed copy for over the past year. That and this one has a better box than the one i picked up the other day.
Also got Desert Heat (Van Damme)
