Need help with a dead Betamax

I found another Betamax, this time an SL-2710 from 1984, Hi-Fi machine, looks to be in pretty good shape overall.

The clock works but the machine is otherwise dead, the power button does nothing.

Checked the two fuses inside the power supply and they are good but I have no idea where to start after that.

I found some dirt and a little rust on one of the shields and the PS cover but it's doesn't appear to have any water damage on the PS or circuit board.

Any help with what to check would be greatly appreciated!
