GE Radio

I've always liked the looks of the old wooden cased radios, and plan on owning one some day. Yesterday I drove down to a new thrift store that opened in town to buy a chair for the computer room I spotted a few weeks ago. When I walked in the back room, there on top of a $49.95 treadle sewing machine was a fairly decent looking GE radio. As I got closer, I saw the short wave band on top, and figured I'd score this one easy! I walked over, picked it up----gee, it's awful light. Looked around the back - no guts. An empty box!

Can you get a picture of this empty case....? I may have a chassis and speaker to go in it.

Next time I go by the thrift store, I'll check. If it's cheap, I'll buy it just for the heck of it.
