Need Tuning Dials for Dumont RA-103

Hello,

I'm completing a restoration of a Dumont RA-103 Chatham (Doghouse) and was wondering if anyone might have one or both of the tuning dials. Both of mine are cracked.

I'm very willing to pay a good price for these, so please let me know.

Thanks!

Scott

You're going to want to refine your search with clockwise or counterclockwise.
The 103 doghouse came with 2 different tuners. One uses a clockwise spiral the other a counterclockwise spiral. I forget the tuner uses which spiral, but one tuner is a tall rectangle and the inductor shaft is the knob shaft (they're very prone to breakage as the section of the shaft inside the tuner is ceramic) the other tuner they lay the rectangular tuner down and point the tuner tuner up and the tuner uses a separate shaft from the tuning knob and is driven by it with gears.
I have a set with the separate shafts but both dials are cracked and glued so probably not much help.

Thanks for the clarification Tom.

Yes, my set is the earlier tuner which runs "clockwise"

Please note that I would be willing to buy just the outer clear colored "FM/TV" dial as well, since half of my dial is missing.

Thanks again!
