Photographs

It seems AK will not be able to get back the photos that were lost a few months back when we had server issues. This is unfortunate being that the photos we post are so important in making AK more interesting.

If any of you had photos posted here back then and are now gone, it would be great if you could post them again in the thread with your original post. All you have to do is go to your post and click edit. Then you can go down to the "manage attachments" section and upload your photo again.

A picture says a thousand words. Let's try to get AudioKarma back to where it was with the great photos we once had.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks for the info. I just noticed that this weekend and wondered what happened. Went looking for a picture I had uploaded to use again in a new post and it was gone.

Looking back at my original post, how did "SKIMWORDS" manage to install the "shopping link" to the reel to reel? I tried to edit that but that illegal link is still there. I see problems with them being able to hijack a picture with their link.

If you switch your web browser to Firefox and install the Requestpolicy and NoScript addons that will prevent stuff like skim links from messing up enjoyment of this site.
I used to use Internet Explorer because I did not know better, but after running FF for only a while it has become clear to me which one is more stable(if I open a few of tabs on here,as is my habit, in IE it tends to crash) and enjoyable to view this site with.

I should try to snap some pics of my transistor and SS collection for this thread some time.
