Soundesign 3480 flip clock/radio clock not working

Radio works. Clock doesnt. No movement. Is this a motor issue?

Can you hear it running if you put your ear up to it?

It's either seized, burned out or a gear has broken somewhere. If you can hear it spinning it's probably the latter, if it's quiet it's probably burned out, if it hums then seized would be most likely.

Took the cover off last night and tapped the spinner and it took right off. Works great now. Unplugged and waited. Plugged back in again and started up fine. Was just stuck. Probably sat for a long time.
