vacuum Tubes are back? vacuum nanotubes

Hi Members-hopfully this is the correct forum to post this.
just saw this story that vacuum tubes are back.
will work upto 460 gig. they claim it is faster than solid state since electrons are traveling through near vacuum instead of substrates.no heater needed.

Who said they left? Still made in Russia, China and Eastern Europe. Listening to a marvelous Philco 1937 push-pull 9 tube set. Jinkies!
