"This Is Your Life" 1958 on quad tape!!!
G'day all.
Recently one of the channels I subscribed to uploaded an episode of "This Is Your Life" dedicated to WWII USS Arizona officer Samuel G Fuqura, it dates 7th December 1958 and it originates from quad videotape instead of the usual 16mm kinescope: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rjVz-0Rrfw Upon Google search I found the episode can be found here in even better quality: http://archive.org/details/this_is_y...samuel_g_fuqua Totally amazing to see another 1950s quad videotape recording to survive especially with on remote location outdoor shoots!!!

Isn't that the program that they gave a 16mm sound film and a sound projector to the guest of honor? Long before VCR's became popular.
