Probably not a good idea to be trespassing on someone's property. He probably thought he was doing them a favor. I wonder if he's a member of Videokarma?
Just taking pictures of them by the roadside can be dangerous. Sometimes the owner will come out and help you load them up!

Probably one of those 2010 2011 Samsung 50 inch plasmas that develop horizontal black lines from delamination of the y sustain contacts inside the panel. Trash.... Microwave transformer material.

I like the ones which have a USB jack on the back. You can take a flash drive and load it with test patterns (1920x1080) and you've got a test pattern generator on a stick!
