I used to have one....

It sucks when you look back and realize how foolish parents can be sometimes... I wish my dad was still around so I can tell him that he tossed out a machine that would have been worth near $2000 restored. ( the same parent who got rid of the RCA CTC-10 cause he could not fix it. )

My grandma was a hoarder, and my mom is certain she had a copy of Louis Armstrong's Zulus ball (the rarest/most expensive 78) it probably got tossed in a clean up or destroyed in a flood...

My parents/mamaw tossed out one of those uber funky Zenith c.1945 combo record players/radio. Pretty sure it was a 45 RPM, & I remember it was black bakelite. Nothin' quite feels like Bakelite. Think it was about 1968-69, they used the old saw-"Can't get the Tube" for it..
