B&K 467 neon bulbs
How bright are the bulbs for the leakage supposed to be? I can barely see them, unlike the power indicator.

Neon bulbs are not bright at all. You should still be able to see them light in a fully lit room, though. If they are, however, behind a red lens that may make it a little harder to see. I'm not familiar with this instrument, but likely the power indicator is an incandescent bulb, not neon.

idk, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't neon bulbs either light or not light? I don't think there's an in between.
Could be wrong. |

Brightness depends on current.

I guess for now I'll have to live with the bulbs being dimmer than I'd like them to be, but it still works and that's what matters
