RCA TR29 Radio, tv table model
This set had been through the mill. Yet, when I finally got a raster on the tube, I also found radio was working on both AM-FM radio, I had also rebuilt.
But, thirty minutes later, the AM died. Fifteen minutes later the FM also died. Tubes, and, dial lights stayed lit. It will not re-start playing. Put other tested, known working tubes remained with radio dead. Tried spraying tube sockets with di-ox-it on all radio plugs going to tv chassis with no help. Can anyone help ? Bill Cahill

While we are at it, does anyone have a spare chassis that I can use as a doner to fix my set?
Thanks. Bill Cahill

Check the B+ voltages, if those are good and you have an audio generator try injecting at the output grid and work your way back if you have sound, If good back to the detectors and you have a modulated RF alignment generator Start before the detector and work your way back towards the ant....Signal injection 101.
