5up1 and Motorola vt71

Will the 5up1 crt work in the Motorola 7 inch sets, meaning can the pic be adjusted to fit the tube as some tubes have differences in the deflection plates and the pic may come up to short to fill the tube face.

The maximum anode voltage of a 5up1 is way too low compared to a 7jp4's anode voltage. You need a crt that works at 6000 volts or better.

Also, a 5UP1 is a lot longer than a 7JP4.
