stromberg carlson radio phono console
Seen at a yard sale yesterday. I passed on, not my thing at the moment. It was the square front variety about four feet high and four feet across. Fold out phono on the left and I think a three band radio on the right behind a door. It may have had early FM on it. Cabinet was dirty but fair with maybe a piece of veneer missing. Guy said it was cherry. The stuff I did buy I got for a pretty good price the same for this I would guess. It's in Palenville, NY. Just letting ya all know...

I have a working Stromberg-Carlson 1121 and a 1235 that I am currently working on. If you want to identify S-C sets and get free schematics and service information, check here:
http://www.audiophool.cjb.net/MadeInRoch.html and scroll down to the end of the page. One thing about Stromberg-Carlson - they never tried to skimp on weight. |
