Todays score!

For a six dollar total investment and they both work!
The motorola is a model 5a9m from 1949.
Not sure what year the zenith is but it sounds realy good,
and the clock works to!

The Zenith looks like L520, L522, L622 or K622. Take a look at http://archives.radioattic.com/archive_z6.htm and see which one is closest.

I might have the service info for these - I'll check.

I found the model for the zenith A515f .Looks like it will clean up real nice.
Its amazing that alot of 50 plus year old radios still work ,and still sound good !

It's covered in Sams folder 362 (1957) - I'll see if I have it - but if not, it's the same circuit as a million other 5 tube radios...
