Hi my name is Tim and I enjoy working on record players. I restored a few RCA Skippers and I always love to learn new things.

Welcome to VK.
Wonder if it was the same person who later went on to name RCA's "Dimensia" line of TVs?

Quote:
RCA contracted with another firm to build the AC adaptor. The adaptor became NLA, shortly after the unit came out and RCA sold them out cheap to get rid of them. Mail order firms like Olsons was selling them for $29.95. The original price was supposed to be around $100.00 . |
