Emerson, in their first TV line in late '47-'48, actually produced one of the most elusive early post-war TV's that I know of. It was a small 10" "chairside" console with the top panel tilted back similar to that drawing. I've seen a period picture of one, so at least one was produced.
Funny how the artist unintentionally predicted the letterbox flat-screen TV 50 years before it was produced! |
