I wish! It's supposed to be bakelite and shaped quite differently. There are two knobs really.
A smaller diameter one for cranking around the dial rapidly.
Below that should be a disc shaped one that is depressed and twisted for fine tuning.

I love that chairside.

A Philco 38-4 just popped up in my area with that same vernier dial. Now I've got a dilemma - do I buy it just for the chassis and knobs ?
I can't possibly squeeze that cabinet into my place so I'd have to leave it out in the alley :tears:

Maybe somebody out there is looking for a nice 38-4 cabinet ?
