All the electronic folks I met who were always nice were senile, on medication, and social security. If I brought up the subject of funeral homes or insurance, they would start to twitch and sweat profusely.

here in central ohio,we have a epidemic of electronics guys becoming crossdressers.five have made the switch that we know of.dont know why,dont care,just sounds really bizarre.rest assured,it wont happen to me.i dont have the legs for it.

Geez! After these last two posts from you guys let's hear it for some sanity!! :D

As for ourselves forums and posts like this make me/us realize that we are not alone, and what a resourceful group we are when put together! Even in the older days with excemption there were folks that didn't want to share their "trade secrets"..and we've lost so much already and I believe we all understand that.

I'm sure thankful and appreciative for us to have the opportunities to share in this..

I'm glad I'm none of those! LOL:D

He cuts down trees, He skips and jumps;
He loves to press wild flow'rs.
He puts on women's clothing;
And hangs around in bars.

He's a lumberjack and he's okay;
He sleeps all night and he works all day

With my forum name I'm a bit worried.....

"Michael Rennie was ill the day the Earth stood still, & he told us where it began...And Flash Gordon was there in silver underwear, Claude Raines was the Invisible Man..." But the Pythons are special...Still think "Holy Grail" is maybe the funniest movie ever made...Watched it umpteen times & STILL find something new & absurd to laugh at...I dunno if I could ever get so sad or depressed that a good dose of Python zaniness couldn't bring me out of it. Hope not, anyhow. And I think their popularity is universal. Played Grail once for a bunch of kids who were, well, uhh, Rednecks, most unsophisticated types who had no idea who the Pythons were, or what they were about...At first, they were kinda stupefied, but by the end of the flick, they were howling at it, & afterwards were reciting dialog like everybody else does. Ni !

You know Sandy, some things never get old..(except maybe us). I believe I owe some of my warped sense of humor to Monty Python!!

Sandy G 03-28-2010 07:19 AM

I remember singing the "Lumberjack Song" where I first worked at when I was a kid fresh outta college...Boy, the older guys REALLY gave me the "Fish Eye" big time, but the younger ones "Got it", & had a blast w/it. And, yes, MY warped sense of humor, is partially due to The Pythons...Being Seriously Psychotic helps, too, I suppose....

old_tv_nut 03-29-2010 01:16 PM

No more remarks about "the older guys" or we'll bring out the comfy chair for you!
