There maybe something to that G1 color thing. I have noticed it but never paid close attention to .
I wonder if its where the filament evaporation deposits. Much like how a non gas filled light bulb gets that silvery gray coating on the inside from the boiled off tungsten. |
No, that stuff typically ends up in the neck near the base. The 21AXP22 in my Sylvania set has that going on, same way as an old light bulb. I guess it actually is an old bulb of light, depending on how you choose to look at it.

Sorry for the pic delay.. http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/a...u6/photo-1.jpg http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/a...u6/photo02.jpg |
Very dignified cabinet - could fit in the library of a mansion or I could picture the President watching it at the White House. :thmbsp:

has the cool color hologram badge as well.

Me Likey ! There's just "Something" about a Roundie, especially a hi-end one like this...They're SO "Elegant" & "Sophisticated"...A set like this would about always be in the "Company" room, where the kids, dogs, food, etc. was NOT allowed to go... Mom would be in her Sunday best, Dad would have his jacket on....Always CLEAN & NEAT in that room...If you lived back in that era, like I did, you know what I'm talkin' about.
|
Beautiful cabinet! What year is that set from?
|
yep that room was strickly off limits to kids, adults only.
|
Really sweet! Never did see a CTC10 that high-end! Is there a safety window that was removed?
|
If it is like my CTC-11s, they came with the safety glass or without.
