The two 6LF6's are on their way. You should see them within a few days. I hope at least one of them do the job for you. Good luck!

Hey! I got those 6LF6s :)

Here's the set (pre swap). I tried to get a good pic, but no tripod. 1/15th sec with 400 speed film in dark room. I might try more tomorrow, plus the family Wega for ref.

Here's the set in it's current spot, ontop of it's 25LC20 big brother:

Great! Hope they serve you well.

That little set looks like it puts out pretty good color! You've probably saved it from a long boring death. If you hadn't found it at that garage sale, it most certainly would have gone to the dump!

I'll swap them in once I figure out ameter jacks for the horz efficiency adjustment. The picture's pretty darn nice, and the set's stable. I's gotten a bit better as it's been used. I'm guessing it's not been on in ages. The 3.58 oscilator's still a little sleepy, and the warm up on the sound and AGC is a bit long. But it's a neat set.

And it keeps the room warm :)

And to think... we're still running the A/C down here on the Gulf Coast! And if I turn on a tv, I have to bump the thermostat down a couple of degrees!
