Please restore the set - I have it's brother, and I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Mine is in W-A-A-Y worse shape than yours, so it too is a back burner project, after my Setchell-Carlson.

Love to see a photos of yours. Update on mine is I got the cabinet stripped sanded ironed out the big dents on top, then did a wash coat of shellac and some stain. Next step in 24-48 hours in three coats of wipe-on poly. I will post photos when that step is done.

Don't do poly if you can. It makes future refinishes (and fixing your own mistakes) much more difficult.

Uhh, yeah. DON'T dive headlong into a TV until you've got a few AA5s under yr belt, & THEY don't "Flummox" you anymore... Well, at least not TOO bad, anyhow... (grin)
