The "Freddie & the Yuletide Doll" portion is indeed a multi-generation dub... I have a copy of the original 1961 30-minute broadcast, which I'm glad to say is much sharper than what is presented here-- also, they've "augmented" the soundtrack of the "Freddie" portion with an awful lot of spring reverb that isn't on the original. Not sure why...

(And since I saw some discussion of it, constant viewers will no doubt note that my current avatar is in fact the CBS "bloodshot" eye logo...)

We hope to watch a 1962 program like that on this 1962 CTC-11 RCA set that's under restoration by Dave (MM) very soon!
